After 48 years, Vector Security has announced the retirement of Vince DiValerio, effective April 30, 2024.

DiValerio joined Vector Security in June 1976 and held various positions in the company including roles in sales, branch management, district management and, for the last 24 years, as the vice president of acquisitions. In his acquisition role, DiValerio was responsible for overseeing the company’s acquisition growth strategy including the most recent acquisition of ADS Security in 2019.

“I want to personally thank Vince for his many years of service with our company, and for being an integral part of our success through the years,” said Pam Petrow, CEO of Vector Security. “We wish Vince the very best as he enters this new stage in his life.”

Vector said DiValerio is well-respected in the security industry and has been a catalyst for the company’s continued growth over the years. The company went on to say it is indebted to DiValerio for his commitment to propelling us to its current position and managing its internal team members and external stakeholders with dignity, respect and professionalism. The company concluded by saying his work has laid the foundation for Vector’s future acquisition growth strategies.

Effective May 1, 2024, Ryan Dreliszak will assume lead responsibilities for all company mergers and acquisitions. Dreliszak has been working closely with DiValerio over the last year, and he has started to assess the company’s next steps as it begins to look at future acquisition opportunities.

“Ryan is eager to get out there and meet business owners and our industry partners, and he has the experience and energy to cultivate and drive new acquisition opportunities,” said Chuck Thropp, CFO for Vector Security.
