Kwikset has introduced the Halifax LED Lever. The lever features an integrated LED light that illuminates the handle when motion is detected, making it easier to locate in the dark. A built-in motion sensor activates the light when movement is detected within 10 feet, based on room brightness of one lux, at a 108° angle. The light turns off after seven seconds of no motion to conserve energy. The 4000k LED light emits a natural white glow, providing energy-efficient illumination that is helpful during power outages, in dimly lit spaces or in children’s bedrooms.
