Gunnebo Group has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, titled, “Our Journey to a Safe and Sustainable Tomorrow,” which for the first time includes a sustainability statement prepared in line with the incoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

“In line with our ambition to prioritize and accelerate our approach to sustainability and contribute meaningfully to a resilient and responsible future, we are embedding sustainability into the heart of our business,” said Stefan Syrén, president and CEO, Gunnebo Group. By aligning with the CSRD today — before it becomes a legal requirement — we are taking ownership of our sustainability journey and demonstrating our commitment to responsible leadership.”

Fredrik Fors, general counsel and senior vice president, sustainability, Gunnebo Group, said, “The 2024 report highlights the progress Gunnebo Group has made across key areas of its ESG agenda. Environmentally, we are starting to intensify our efforts to reduce carbon footprint across operations and we could already now see some progress while we all understand that this is a long-term effort. We are convinced that we can balance investments, decarbonization and increased customer value in a way that this work is long term sustainable. These efforts are part of a broader climate roadmap designed to support our long-term goal of achieving carbon neutrality.”

Syrén added, “Our 2024 Sustainability Report is a reflection of the concrete steps we are taking to drive meaningful change both within our organization and in the broader communities we serve. Beyond preparing for future regulation, we are committed to creating long-term stakeholder value by creating an inclusive and responsible workplace, safeguarding employee wellbeing, and upholding the highest standards of ethics and transparency. These are the foundations of a resilient business and a more sustainable future.”
