Electrical products distributor Wesco has boosted its video security offering via a new partnership with Defigo, which serves as a next-generation video intercom platform built for multifamily and commercial properties.

The collaboration gives security system integrators and dealers nationwide streamlined access to Defigo’s cloud-based intercom and access management platform.

For Wesco, the partnership strengthens its smart building and security technology portfolio with a modern, easy-to-install intercom platform that helps contractors and integrators upgrade legacy systems without the need for complex rewiring. For Oslo, Norway-based Defigo, it expands its reach and simplifies fulfilment across Wesco’s extensive logistics network.

Terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
