ProdataKey (PDK), a company in cloud-based access control solutions, released its newly revamped WiMAC range test tool, designed to make wireless range testing simpler, faster and more accessible.

WiMAC is PDK’s proprietary wireless communication protocol, designed to bring flexibility and efficiency to access control installations. By adding a WiMAC module to any PDK Red controller board, installers can enable plug-and-play wireless communication between devices.

Prior to setting up a system with WiMAC wireless communication, PDK experts recommend that integrators run a wireless range test to ensure that all devices will be able to communicate effectively.

With this update, installers and partners can run range tests directly from any Chromium-based web browser.
