National Guardian Security Services Inc., Norwalk, Conn., a provider of electronic security services to multi-location businesses, announced the closing of a $10 million equity commitment from LLR Partners Inc. This expansion capital will allow National Guardian to execute its growth plans, make selected acquisitions, and accelerate the rollout of new services.

National Guardian offers installation, maintenance, and monitoring services for a range of security needs, including burglar and fire alarms, access control, closed circuit television, and remote video systems. National Guardian has an exclusive focus on the national account segment of the alarm industry in the United States and Canada.

The company was started in 1992, and renamed National Guardian in 2002 by George Flagg, an industry veteran who previously was chief executive officer of Holmes Protection Group Inc. and The National Guardian Corp.
