A new series of low-flow waterflow detectors are now available from System Sensor. Part of the Accuflow series, the detectors are intended for use in wet-pipe water mist systems, where flow detection of 3 gal./min. is required. Models are compatible with 2-in. through 4-in. stainless steel and brass pipe. The Accuflow low flow detectors incorporate a solid-state retard ensuring proper sensitivity, precise timing accuracy and switch resetting. DIP switch selections permit field adjustment of retard settings. The detectors’ non-polarized, two-wire design allows connection to both conventional and addressable fire and/or security systems.
