Panasonic Security Systems introduces its series of CODEC (Encoder/Decoder) devices. The units provide Ethernet networking capabilities employing Panasonic’s extensive line of analog cameras and systems products. Panasonic’s GX Series employs high-definition MPEG2 compression technology to provide an effective use of bandwidth, while providing a maximum delay of less than 150ms for the high quality transmission of video surveillance images.
