Police Chiefs Receive Alarm Management Award

Glen Mowrey (right), National Law Enforcement Liaison, Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), presents the SIAC Director's Award to the leadership of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police during the chiefs' annual 2005 conference in Savannah, Ga. The award recognized the Georgia chiefs for their outstanding leadership in addressing the issue of false alarms by establishing an alarm management committee comprised of members of the chiefs association and the Georgia Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. The award is presented to Chief Lou Dekmar (left), association president, and chief Stacey Cotton (center), second vice president and alarm management committee chair.
