ADS Acquires Angel Security

ADS Security, Nashville, Tenn., has acquired Angel Security, Prattville, Ala. ADS is the 24th largest electronic security company in the nation, as ranked by the SDM 100. Angel Security has served commercial, institutional and residential accounts in the Prattville, Montgomery and central Alabama area since 1997. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.

â€œWe are very pleased and proud to bring Angel Security into the ADS Security network of companies,â€ announced Mel Mahler, president of ADS. â€œAngel Security has the quality people, technology and reputation to make it a perfect fit with our operation.â€

Angel Security will continue to operate under its own name as one of the 13 security alarm companies that ADS operates in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia. Seven of the ADS companies are in Alabama.

ADS Security was established in Nashville in 1989. The company provides electronic security monitoring, installation and service for more than 50,000 commercial, institutional and residential customers throughout the Southeast.
