Vector Security’s “Reassuring America” MacDonald Motor Sports car made its debut on in May, when it entered the NASCAR event held at the Richmond International Raceway.
Company officials at Vector Security Inc., Pittsburgh, view Vector’s entrance into the NASCAR sponsorship arena as a great way to help popularize the company and the value of the industry.

The Vector Security “Reassuring America” MacDonald Motor Sports #72 car made its debut on Friday, May 14th when it entered the FUNAI 250 Busch Series event held at the Richmond International Raceway.

Vector Security’s Richmond, Va.-based division, and the company’s authorized dealer division spearheaded the sponsorship. Vector’s Richmond division vice president, Ronald Schall, believes the sponsorship will help increase the company’s position within the Richmond market.

“MacDonald Motor Sports made a decision to place a Richmond based driver named Jason White behind the wheel, and in doing so parlayed the value of his personal recognition. It became a hometown company sponsoring a car at a hometown track with a hometown driver behind the wheel,” Schall said.

Vector’s authorized dealer division vice president John Madden says the sponsorship is something his dealers can grab onto. “While Vector Security may not be a household word yet, NASCAR is, and we’re enabling our dealers to take advantage of that recognition in markets chosen specifically to complement the sport’s high popularity,” Madden said.
