The Highpower Lightning 505 Regulated Power Supply has a selectable 13.8 or 27.6 VDC 1 Amp linear output. It is designed to power electromagnetic locks, electric strikes and low voltage access controls. The power supply features an integrated battery backup guarding against loss of input power. Its straightforward installation allows you to utilize this power supply for retrofits as well as new applications. The Lightning 505 has an improved heat-sinking configuration that provides long life and trouble free operation compared with other linear power supplies. A fully proven design, field failures and returns of this unit are among the lowest in the security industry, according to the manufacturer.
