Speco Technologies’ two-way, four-wire video security intercom system is now available in color. The system, model VDP-6000, features a flat 4 in. color LCD screen and infrared LED viewing for night illumination. The call button automatically activates the chime and monitor showing a picture of the caller. Audio is received from outside through a condenser microphone. The VDP-6000, the color upgrade of the VDP-5000, also offers a two-way manual switcher, a 165-ft. maximum wiring distance and can be used with an optional door release. The manual switcher allows the system to be expandable up to two color monitors (the VDP-M6F), and two color, weatherproof cameras (the VDP-C6F).
