The system, model VDP-6000, features a flat 4 in. colorLCD screen and infrared LED viewing for night illumination. The call button automaticallyactivates the chime and monitor showing a picture of the caller. Audio is receivedfrom outside through a condenser microphone. The VDP-6000, the color upgradeof the VDP-5000, also offers a two-way manual switcher, a 165-ft. maximum wiringdistance and can be used with an optional door release. The manual switcher allowsthe system to be expandable up to two color monitors (the VDP-M6F), and two color,weatherproof cameras (the VDP-C6F).
