CAMERA HELPS USERS MIGRATE TO HD

Sony Electronics’ high definition EVI robotic camera is a single chip-based, PTZ camera that features multi-format capability to output to both standard and high-definition video for migration from standard-definition to HD. The camera uses a 1080i CMOS sensor that delivers high resolution in 720p, 1080i or 1080p. The camera can be used with other manufacturer’s compatible codes and systems because of its ability to output standard definition video, high definition analog component or digital HD-SDI. The cameras can output 16:9 images in 480i or HD formats. It incorporates a 10X optical zoom with a 70-degree horizontal field of view. It is equipped with high-torque, high-speed direct drive motors. The PTZ controls can be operated by a supplied IR remote commander unit or via the RS-232C interface.
