Stanley Convergent Security Solutions announced recently that it plans to open an alarm receiving center (ARC) in the United Kingdom. The 3,100 square-foot facility, the company’s first facility in the U.K., will include a data center and monitoring work stations that can monitor more than 50,000 customers.

Scheduled to open and be fully operational in June, the U.K. ARC will be among the largest central stations — of the estimated 30 companies currently operating monitoring centers — in the United Kingdom. The facility will be National Security Inspectorate (NSI)-certified and located in Swindon, Wiltshire.

“We look forward to expanding our monitoring capabilities throughout the U.K.” says Tony Byerly, president and chief operating officer of Stanley CSS. “The addition of our ARC in the U.K. continues our expansion of global services that best fit our customer’s needs.”
