SureView Systems, Tampa, Fla., developer of Immix®, a video-based automation platform for the security alarm industry, and Videofied, White Bear Lake, Minn., developer of the MotionViewer, a self-powered wireless radio device combining a PIR and digital day/night vision camera in one unit, announced an enhancement to their integration of Videofied with Immix and Immix Cloud.

Immix enables central stations and command centers to deliver the next generation of monitoring services such as event-based video verification, interactive monitoring, remote guard tours, video escorts, and unattended deliveries while reducing operational costs. Immix achieves this by consolidating video, access control, audio and alarm events into a single point of control.

The Videofied MotionViewer comes in indoor and outdoor models and is “the central-station-friendly video intrusion alarm,” according to SureView Systems. This enhanced Videofied integration enables central station operators to receive both the alarm signal and the corresponding video clips from Videofied to verify a crime in progress and dispatch law enforcement. Operators can now view multiple alarm clips, trigger remote relays, establish a two way call to the Videofied panel and send arm/disarm commands. Immix records all video and actions of the operator in the full-time, date-stamped, multimedia audit trail available for station management and customers to review. The Videofied integration can be combined in Immix with other onsite video to offer a blended approach to video verification.

“The new Video Verification interface in Immix Cloud is a game changer. It delivers a feature set that exceeds anything in the market today. Combining this with the enhanced integration of the market-leading video verification device, Videofied, creates a system and level of service every central station needs to offer,” said Simon Morgan, product manager of SureView Systems.

SureView Systems will be offering special pricing for Videofied, making it even easier for central stations to begin monitoring Videofied alarms. Using Immix with Videofied will enable central stations to branch out and add more video capabilities and sophistication, eventually expanding into total video surveillance with other CCTV cameras. “The integration of our two systems creates an easy entry for central stations into the video market space while enabling them to branch out and add sophistication with Immix,” stated Keith Jentoft, president of Videofied U.S.
