Honeywell, Melville, N.Y., welcomed Albemarle Sound & Security, Edenton, N.C., and National Industrial Communications Inc. (NICI), Winnipeg, as Honeywell Authorized Dealers for Commercial Security Systems (CSS).

The program provides design, installation and support services for the integrators. Albermarle serves residential customers in the upper eastern part of North Carolina. In addition to traditional security systems consisting of video surveillance and access control, Albemarle provides a range of home automation solutions including whole house audio, theater rooms, surround sound, driveway sensors and HVAC control for energy savings. Albemarle has been in the custom electronics and security business for 17 years, and it built the foundation of the company on customer service.

NICI provides a broad range of services including CCTV, nurse call systems, wandering patient alerts, access control, intercom and public address systems. Founded in 1998, the company designed and installed these customized systems in numerous hospitals, personal care homes, schools and government facilities throughout Manitoba and northwest Ontario.
