Peak Alarm, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and ranked no. 67 in the SDM 100, started construction on a brand new 16,000 sq. ft. facility. The new building will showcase a large home theater, family room surround sound, and the latest technology available to make a home into a smart home. The new facility will also house the Guard and Patrol Division.

The New building is expected to open in early December 2012. It will house “Peak Audio & Video” & “Peak Guard & Patrol”, shared conference rooms, a training room, kitchen, and large overflow warehouses.

 Peak’s expansion comes from the growing alarm business as well as the added divisions of Peak Audio & Video & Peak Guard & Patrol. “As we continued expanding our core business and adding new ventures we felt it was critical to expand” said Rick Howe, Peak Alarm’s president.  “That the new facility will provide an experience center for customers to see what is available and allow them to imagine how they could implement technology into their homes”.
