Panasonic expanded its line of i-PRO Series network cameras with the 3-series and 1-series cameras. The 3-series cameras include Super Dynamic outdoor/indoor PTZ network cameras with 36X optical zoom, 720 p HD and advanced auto tracking. The WV-SW396 outdoor PTZ camera features H.264 HD/720 p images and 72X additional optical zoom when used in VGA resolution. The 3-series also includes the WV-SW314, WV-SW316 and WV-SW316L outdoor network box cameras. The WV-SW316 is equipped with a motorized varifocal lens to enable the zoom ratio to be adjusted using operation buttons and the setup menu. The WV-SW316L also has a built-in infrared LED illuminator for low-light viewing. The SmartHD 1-series includes the WV-SW155, a 720 p HD outdoor compact dome camera for mobile solutions featuring H.264 compression and Super Dynamic with face detection. The IP66/vandal-resistant camera offers a 104-deg. wide-angle field of view. Also new are a series of indoor/outdoor pan-tilt (PT) cameras including an outdoor HD camera offering wireless transmission. WV-SW175 is an outdoor 720 p HD H.264 camera providing easy and simple operation with PT control. Other features include wide dynamic range with face detection and an 85-deg. field of view. WV-SW174W incorporates an IEEE802.11n wireless LAN.
