Rack-Mount Enclosure Houses Backup Batteries for Power Supply/Chargers

Altronix introduced a rack-mount battery enclosure called the RE2. The RE2 enclosure is designed to accommodate backup batteries for rack-mounted power supply/chargers. The RE2 is designed to house batteries in a rack configuration to provide a simple and efficient means of ensuring system operations during power failure conditions. The RE2 rack-mount battery enclosure features a 2U rack-mount chassis for use in standard EIA 19-in. racks. The unit accommodates up to four 12 VDC/17 AH batteries and features quick-release terminal blocks for easy installation.
