P1 App Lets NA Customers Check on Site Install Remotely
To help make life easier for its National Account customers, Protection 1 launched a new customer service app – SiteView – that allows images of equipment installed at National Account locations to be viewed remotely by the customers and their technicians. Images are stored on eSuite, Protection 1’s customer web portal.
Protection 1 recently introduced the Equipment Inventory capability to eSuite, which allows National Account customers to view reports of site equipment inventory (pictured). With the addition of SiteView, these customers can now have an even better understanding of what security equipment is installed at their sites – both in item data and in pictures. National Account customers can also have Protection 1 use SiteView to upload pictures of site surveys, installation progress, or even videos of site walk-throughs.

Free Android App for MAXPRO NVRs
Honeywell launched the Android app — for smartphones and tablets — for MAXPRO® NVRs: MAXPRO Mobile. The app allows users to connect to a MAXPRO NVR from a remote location and supports all the features supported by the Apple version of the app, including: live video viewing, zooming in for full screen viewing, playback or searching for video by date and time, and taking a snapshot of a video frame. The company noted that in the future, MAXPRO Mobile - Android app will also include support for MAXPRO Cloud and Rapid Eye. The app is available now on the Google Play Store.

STI reports they’ve made button and cover selection simple. The company now offers an easy “Refine Search” feature available on its website for its selection of emergency, exit, fire, fuel pump shut-down, emergency power-off, emergency exit, universal and custom buttons as well as covers.
