Bosch Security Systems Inc. added networking capabilities to its FPA-1000-V2 Addressable Fire Panel, allowing installers to connect multiple panels to monitor up to 2,000 addressable points in one system. The networkable panel is designed for larger commercial applications in a wide range of environments, including retail centers, educational facilities, large residential buildings, commercial complexes, government sites and medical facilities. The panel supports networking via wired Ethernet, fiber optic or two-conductor wire, allowing mixed wiring types and multiple connection methods for flexibility in system design. Additionally, it offers a Web-based approach for monitoring and maintaining the system and generating reports. A dedicated blue LED indicator and temporal four-pattern for signaling, notify users to the presence of carbon monoxide.
