HID Global has announced FARGO HDP8500LE Industrial Laser Engraver, the latest module in its FARGO Industrial Series for high-security state and government eID programs or other applications requiring advanced visual security. The HDP8500LE leverages the most versatile laser engraving technology in card identity systems to permanently engrave a range of unalterable personal attributes into cards to make forgery and alteration virtually impossible. Combined with HID’s Asure ID software, the HDP8500LE provides users with a single card template that integrates data to be printed, programmed and engraved into a card to speed the process of issuing secure IDs.
