JVC Professional Products Co. announced its full HD network outdoor PTZ dome camera, the VN-H657WPU, and an indoor version, the VN-H657U. With a 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor and JVC’s Super LoLux HD technology for low-light sensitivity, the cameras deliver true day/night performance and full HD 1080p resolution. Both cameras include an 18X optical zoom (and 10X digital zoom) with 360-deg. PTZ. Super LoLux HD provides 0.35 lux sensitivity in color and 0.15 lux in black-and-white. Other features include 3D noise reduction, Electric Wide-D (wide dynamic range) and IR cut filter.
