Building on day one’s packed aisles and almost constant sound of multiple conversations, day two at ISC West continued to see heavy foot traffic and that same cicada-like buzz of voices doing business.

Following Thursday’s grand opening ceremony (the show’s second), the show floor quickly filled with attendees once again, with many more continuing to stream in throughout the day. From the big front booths to the smaller booths in the rear, it seemed that the majority of exhibitors were actively engaged in conversation with attendees about their products and technologies.

A fully-booked show floor and an equally busy Global Expo housed in ballrooms on the second floor of the convention center are examples of how ISC West has continued to grow over the last few years. This year’s show, according to Reed Exhibitions, is the largest since 2007, which preceded the economic downturn of 2008.

Additionally, the SIA Education@ISC conference, which wrapped up its three-day schedule on Thursday, boasted record attendance, according to SIA CEO Don Erickson.
