Milestone Systems, an open platform company in IP video management software based in Copenhagen, Denmark, is tightening relations with Pelco by Schneider Electric, a manufacturer of IP cameras and IP video accessories. This collaboration is evolving for Pelco, as a long-time Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner (MAP), in response to market demand, the companies reported. Milestone Channel Partners and customers now gain the advantage of new and deeper integrations between Pelco IP cameras and Milestone Systems IP video management software (VMS).
Milestone Systems will provide deeper integration support for Pelco’s IP-based cameras in the award-winning XProtect®-family of open platform VMS. This closer relationship will enable partners and customers to explore the advanced capacities of Pelco’s cameras and Milestone’s VMS. The support today of Pelco analytics with the latest version of Milestone device pack is already a good example of this cooperation, providing the companies’ joint customers the possibility to use at-the-edge advanced analytics and have events and information reported and managed by Milestone XProtect software.
