Hikvision, China, a worldwide supplier of video surveillance equipment, announced that its research & development unit, serving and administration departments have moved to a new corporate complex in Hangzhou, China. The former buildings on Dongliu Road have been retained and plans have been set to turn them into the company's manufacturing complex.

“With Hikvision continuing to expand and gain recognition within the market worldwide, we need to both enlarge our production capability and increase personnel in almost all departments," said Keen Yao, international marketing director at Hikvision. "The huge expansion of available office space will provide us with a better working environment and an improved R&D facility to bring further innovative products to the market." These developments are examples of the company's ever-increasing manufacturing capacity.
