Mission 500, Miami, and ESA Gives Back, the association’s charitable and philanthropic program, joined forces during ESX 2014 in Nashville, to raise money for a security-industry mission trip bringing aid and education to Mexico. ESA sold more than 100 tickets for a raffle at ESX and generated more than $10,000 in funding for the organization. The winner, announced at the show, received a PGA Masters Flag autographed by 25 of golf’s greatest legends including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods.  On the final day of the ESX show, Dana Klesh of United Alarm, Brookfield, Conn., was announced as the lucky winner of the Masters Flag. The trip to Mexico will take place October 27-30, 2014, and individuals interested in signing up for the trip or supporting the cause can learn more at www.esaweb.org. Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen and construct water sanitation systems, and help bolster health awareness and education in local communities.
