The Women’s Security Council (WSC), Tampa, Fla., will launch its 2015 submissions for the Women of the Year awards on Monday, December 1. The submission process will be open until the end of February and all submissions will be reviewed by a council of industry thought leaders.  The winners will be announced at ISC West in April 2015. Nominees will be judged based on the leadership they have exhibited in the security industry and at their companies, and the ways they have given back to the women's business community by mentoring, or supporting other women in the security market.

Rhianna Daniels, founding committee member and managing director, CompassPR, Tampa, Fla., who attended ISC East, stressed the importance of forging great mentor relationships for women, especially in the male-dominated security industry.  “We are here at this great regional show to represent women in this industry and to promote our mentoring program,” said Daniels. “We need volunteers for the program, too.”
