AES Corporation Unveils Redesigned Website
AES’s new mobile friendly website offers easy navigation for viewing company capabilities; solutions and technology offerings; products and services; and information on industry news and events. In addition, the Fire Marshal Resources page is now accessible on the site’s homepage, located next to the Dealer Login button. A new Resources tab provides visitors with quick access to dealer forms and tools; and there is no more searching one-by-one for product data sheets and manuals — they are now all available in one place (under Resources) as well as posted on each product landing page. Also, dealers can use their login name/password to access KnowledgeBase + Case Tracker solutions as well as technical support via the customer portal, all via a smartphone or tablet.
Blogging About the Modern Home
The Custom Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) knows about fit and form when it comes to designing eye-catching homes filled with state-of-the-art tech. CEDIA’s blog entry, “How They Did It: Sharing a Modern Makeover”offers a step-by-step peek at a home’s automation installation that used Crestron integration for all the home’s basic functions: lighting, shading, security, and AV on a simple interface. The beautiful photos of the work are also available on the blog post, which walks the reader through the process of integrating systems and shares the challenges the builders faced when creating a home with so many integrated features.
