Tyco Security Products introduced the Illustra Essentials mini-dome and bullet IP cameras. Available in 1 and 2 MP outdoor mini-dome and bullet varifocal models, the Illustra Essentials IP cameras offer users a wider field of view. These cameras utilize a 2.8 to 12 mm varifocal lens. Beyond the field of view, the cameras have true day/night IR illumination to capture high-quality video in low-light situations. They also feature noise reduction and reduced storage costs with highly efficient bandwidth usage. The cameras provide high-performance wide dynamic range to simultaneously view high-contrast areas. Additionally, these cameras feature H.264 and MJPEG dual-stream encoding and a maximum 30 images per second at 1080p or 720p. The mini-dome cameras come with durable enclosures with an IK10 rating. They are compatible with American Dynamics VideoEdge and exacqVision VMS software and recorders.
