Per Mar Security Services, ranked 29 on the SDM 100 and 76 on the SDM Top Systems Integrators Repot, and based in Davenport, Iowa, has merged with Northern Wisconsin Security & Sound Inc. of Arbor Vitae, Wis. 

 

Both companies specialize in providing electronic security solutions for their customers. The terms of the deal between the two companies were not disclosed. The addition of Northern Wisconsin Security & Sound Inc. to the Per Mar customer base continues to build Per Mar’s presence in Wisconsin. Ben and Robert Berray have joined the Per Mar team and will continue operations in the Arbor Vitae office. Per Mar will continue providing sound and other low voltage services offered by Northern Wisconsin Security & Sound Inc. 

 

“It is always great to be able to join forces with a company that has great employees and has always taken exceptional care of their customers,” said Brian Duffy, president of Per Mar Security Services electronic division.

 

Duffy said the approximately 800 Northern Wisconsin accounts, of which about 80 percent are residential and 20 percent are commercial, will add a significant Per Mar base to the area. 

 

Established in 1953, Per Mar Security Services is a family-owned security company, operating in 24 locations in the Midwest. 

 

Regarding further acquisitions, Duffy said, "We hope to find other good opportunities in 2016 inside of our footprint." 

 

The company provides security officers throughout the Midwest and operates a UL-listed, Five Diamond Certified central alarm station that monitors more than 40,000 customers.
