RS2 Technologies LLC, a provider of access control systems, responding to continuing double-digit growth in sales of the company’s products, announced the formation of two new sales territories. The company announced that the New England and Rocky Mountain Regions would join its existing six regions (Northeast, East Central, Southeast, South Central, West Central, Western and International). In a related announcement, RS2 Technologies announced the appointment of Larry Fox, an accomplished security industry veteran, as regional sales manager of the new Rocky Mountain region.

Dave Barnard, RS2’s director of dealer development, provided details of the move: “These new territories have been carved out of our existing regions, so they are areas that were already being covered by some of our existing regional sales managers. However, this new territory alignment allows us to expand our sales management team to take care of the unprecedented demand we’ve seen for our products over the past few years, much of which has come in these areas. This year, RS2 will see its seventh consecutive annual double-digit increase in sales.” Barnard added that the company felt the regional expansion and re-alignment was critical “to maintain the level of hands-on sales service that our dealers and integrators ― and our end-users ― have come to expect from our regional sales management.”

Fox brings two decades of sales management experience in the access control industry, most recently as a regional sales manager for Lenel Systems Int’l, where he managed VAR customers in the company’s Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions. Prior to that position, he served as sales manager for AVS Integrated Systems. As sales manager for the new Rocky Mountain Region, Fox will have responsibility for the states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Arizona.

Commenting on the appointment, Barnard said, “Larry brings a wealth of access control industry experience to this new position. He understands not only our philosophy of open-platform access control system design, but he literally “grew up from the ground up” in the integrator side of the access control industry, having paid his dues in positions such as service technician, systems engineer, field service supervisor, project manager, etc. We like ― and we know that our customers will like ― that Larry’s access control experience is as deep as it is wide.”

RS2 Managing Partner Doug Robinson sees the appointment of Fox as “another step in our strategy of expanding and strengthening all areas of the company. In each of the last six years, we have experienced double-digit sales growth, and strong personnel moves are an important part of that continued growth.”

Fox attended the University of Arizona and the Denver Institute of Technology, majoring in management information systems and earning a degree in applied science in electronic technology. He resides in Peoria, Ariz.
