D-Link Expands Ethernet Switch Series

D-Link today announced it has expanded its DGS-1100 Series Smart Managed line of cost-effective Gigabit Ethernet switches with two new PoE models: the 10-port DGS-1100-10MP and the 26-port DGS-1100-26MP.

The new switches are designed specifically for IP surveillance applications and feature a customized “Surveillance Mode” user interface. The DGS-1100-10MP and 26MP support a range of helpful features, including essential layer 2 switching options, energy savings, generous PoE power budgets, ONVIF auto-detection and 6 kV per port surge protection – which is especially valuable when powering outdoor cameras.
