Brent Van Haren has been named as the new president of SecurAlarm Systems Inc. when Pat Van Haren stepped down after 23 years as president.

Brent Van Haren has been with SecurAlarm since 2006. He started as project manager coordinating project schedules and system installations and leading the team in the field. He then moved into the manager of engineering, a department he helped to create. He was able to bring his passion and skills he learned through his engineering background to his new team where he was responsible for sales engineering support, engineering quality standards, and product evaluations.

“Brent has been an instrumental force in developing a culture that has allowed our team to excel in their roles through better direction and better overall companywide communication,” says former president, Pat Van Haren.

For the past two years, Brent has been heading the leadership team’s strategic initiatives. His devotion to SAS and the continued growth and success of our organization is in part what drove his transition to president.
