Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), member of the PowerHouse Alliance and regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Midwest market, is celebrating its 26th year in business with three events in September and October of this year for dealers and industry partners.

The Fall Ball Technology Summit series will start in Illinois on Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Rather than being held at C.E.D.’s Elk Grove, Ill., location as in previous years, C.E.D. is hosting the kickoff event at Pinstripes in Oak Brook, Ill., which is a bowling and bocce ball restaurant and sporting venue.

Dealers, vendors and industry partners will have the chance to mingle while bowling and playing a game of bocce ball. Following the event in Oak Brook, the Fall Ball will continue at C.E.D.’s New Berlin, Wis., location and Bloomington, Minn., location from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 27 and Oct. 3, respectively.

Those who take part in the events can expect food, exclusive deals, prizes, as well as new product demos and a chance to meet with reps from more than 30 manufacturers, including eero, iPort, Jamo, JVC, LG, Lutron, Luxul, Peerless-AV, Polk Audio, Samsung, Sanus, SoundTube, URC, Vanco International, WyreStorm and Yamaha.

Those who attend the New Berlin, Wis., event will have the opportunity to chat with the Sonos team and test out the company’s latest wireless audio products. LG and Samsung will also be running training sessions at all three events for interested dealers.

“Now in its 26th year, the C.E.D. team decided to shake things up for the 2018 Fall Ball and move the first stop to an offsite location,” said Avery Baron, president of C.E.D. “We are always looking for ways to set the bar higher in order to properly honor our business partners. We are grateful for our dealers and vendors, and the Fall Ball is 100 percent dedicated to celebrating their business, hard work and loyalty. We think this year’s events will be our best yet.”

Dealers can register for any of the three 2018 Fall Ball events online at http://www.goced.com/new/rsvp.asp.
