Curbio Inc. announced the appointment of ADT CEO Tim Whall to its board of directors. Whall became CEO of ADT in May 2016. Over the years Whall has held positions at every level in the field, including installer, call center operator, general manager, COO and CEO. Recently ADT announced that Whall will retire Nov. 30.

Curbio is a unique home renovation company that listing agents and their sellers use to renovate homes before they're listed, reducing days on market and increasing net proceeds. The company's "renovate now, pay when you sell" deferred payment model enables homeowners to refurbish their properties without having to arrange financing.

"I couldn't be more excited to have Tim Whall join our board of directors," said Rick Rudman, CEO of Curbio. "Tim's experience as an entrepreneur and CEO of a large national services and technology company will be invaluable in the Curbio boardroom, especially as we aggressively expand operations around the country."

Curbio is entering its second year in business and has already expanded from its base in the Greater Washington, DC, and Baltimore regions to Philadelphia and South Jersey. Expansion to Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and other major markets will begin in January 2019.

"Curbio's innovative use of technology is transforming pre-sale home improvement and delivering tangible benefits to home sellers and their realtors," said Tim Whall. "I look forward to serving on the company's board and working with its management team to make Curbio a national brand."
