FE Moran Security Solutions Announces Acquisition of MidCo Systems

FE Moran Security Solutions
April 5, 2019

FE Moran Security Solutions, headquartered in Illinois and a nationwide provider of electronic security, life safety and monitoring systems, today announced the acquisition of MidCo Inc.

FE Moran is ranked no. 34 on the SDM 100, and has an RMR of $1,099,442 as of Dec. 31, 2017. The company had 163 full-time employees and a gross revenue of $31,131,385 in 2017.

Paul Janik, MidCo’s president, stated the sale made sense for several reasons. “Together, we are uniquely positioned to provide customers with the most comprehensive set of security, communication, network and life safety solutions available. FE Moran is one of the fastest growing independent security and network technology companies in the United States, has the capital structure to continue the technological growth and legacy of our company into the future and shares the vision, mission and values of the 60-year heritage of MidCo. There could be no better partner for either one of our companies, our customers and our employees.”

“As the convergence of physical and network security continues at a rapid pace, we are committed to providing end-to-end solutions to our valued clients,” said Brett Bean, FE Moran Security Solutions’ CEO. “To that end, the addition of the MidCo team increases our in-house expertise in key areas.

MidCo’s unmatched history of providing clear solutions to complex problems complements and enhances the services we provide to our customers. The acquisition will also create learning and development opportunities for all of our team members to increase their industry knowledge. I look forward to working with Paul and his team to continue to provide the unsurpassed service MidCo customers have come to expect from this highly reputable firm.”

MidCo employees will continue to operate from offices in Burr Ridge and Bloomington, Ill.
