Security 101, a security integrator, has opened two new franchise offices to serve the New York state area. Security 101 – New York (Long Island) and Security 101 – New York (Lower Hudson Valley) join the existing Security 101 – New York (Metro) office to offer security service coverage to commercial and business operations throughout one of the nation’s most populous regions.

Security 101 – New York (Long Island) is owned by Steve Markowitz, an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the security and communications industry. He was formerly the chief executive officer of Command Electronic Systems, an independent contractor installing and maintaining low-voltage systems, including voice, data and security, in the greater New York City area.

Security 101 – New York (Lower Hudson Valley) is owned by Paul Roberts, who has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His extensive experience includes raising capital for private equity funds, providing strategic advice, corporate financings and principal investing activities.

“While Steve and Paul have diverse backgrounds, they share a common enthusiasm for providing the finest customer service in the design, installation and management of new and retrofit projects,” said Steve Crespo, Security 101’s chief executive officer. “With these two new offices and our existing metro office, Security 101 is in a prime position to become the go-to choice for organizations requiring a full range of security services in the state.”
