Bold Group, a global provider of business solutions for the security industry, announced the promotion of vice president of technology, Matthew Narowski, to president, effective July 8. He is succeeding Rod Coles who announced his decision to retire.

“It has been an honor to lead Bold Group,” Coles said. “I want to thank everyone who has helped me build this company into the industry leader that it is today. This is the right time for me personally, and for the company, to transition to the next generation of leadership. Matt’s vision, strategy and execution track record is exactly what Bold Group needs as we enter our next chapter, which I am confident will be even more impactful and exciting than our last. Matt has a dynamic vision for the growth and future of Bold Group.”

Since joining Bold Group in 2005, Narowski has led multiple key departments, including technical development, implementation and support. In 2017, Narowski became the vice president of operations and later became vice president of technology upon Bold Group’s merger with Perennial Software. Prior to joining Bold Group, Narowski co-owned and operated a dealer central station in Canada.

“Bold Group has a tremendous opportunity to transform our industry with the acquisitions of Perennial Software, SIMS and SGS,” Narowski said. “I am focused on cultivating these products to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the challenges facing the security industry today. In my fourteen years at Bold Group, I have focused on developing strong ties with our customers. Bold Group will continue to be a business built on a customer-first culture, helping companies protect people, safeguard assets and ensure business continuity through our solutions.”

Narowski will discuss his vision for Bold Group — including an announcement of a new line of managed security services — at the 2019 Bold Users Conference in Long Beach, Calif., July 30-Aug. 1. Tickets are available at www.bit.ly/BUC2019.
