STI’s NoTouch cast aluminum IR switch helps eliminate the spread of germs in government facilities, hospitals, clinics, labs, cleanrooms, schools, department stores, factories, offices or any public building with high traffic areas. To exit or enter a building without touching the door, users must simply wave their hand in front of the touchless button. The active infrared will detect the motion and unlatch the time adjustable door. It is constructed of heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum and is slightly oversized to cover old installation marks. The button includes three interchangeable snap-in illuminated messages (white OPEN, green EXIT, blue EXIT), and is customizable. The switch includes a Form “C” dry contact, 0.5A @120VAC, 1A @24VDC, adjustable relay latch time of 0.5 ~ 20 seconds, operating voltage 12VDC – 24VDC, 45mA (maximum), dual color status LED (green/red or red/green), and a 1.5 ~ 6 in. detection range. A matching surface mount cast aluminum back box is also available.
