TRI-ED is pleased to announce that its Technology Roadshow is coming to Los Angeles this fall. Dealers and integrators in the area are welcome to attend this free,one-day event to be held November 12th at the Marriott Burbank, located at 2500 North Hollywood Way in Burbank, CA. 

The key to success though is connecting your customer service to an outstanding customer experience and paying attention to those often overlooked details.

 Industry thought leaders from Comcast, DISH, GigaOm Research, iControl, Dolby, Auro, Pioneer, and Sony Pictures Entertainment will participate in three CEDIA Training panels at CEDIA EXPO 2014. In addition Geoff Mulligan, chairman, IPSO Alliance and former presidential innovation fellow will present a course on the Internet of Things 

 Honeywell added Summit Security Systems to its First Alert Professional dealer program. Summit Security customizes security systems that include local and hosted intrusion, access control and video verification technologies for homes and small businesses in Raleigh, N.C.  

 Pakedge Device & Software, a manufacturer of networking equipment for A/V applications, is embarking on a major product tour July through September 2014 — with the company also exhibiting at the CEDIA EXPO in Denver, from September 10–13. This tour makes 31 stops across the continental United States during the three-month span and provides dealers and integrators with a live and interactive forum for learning about key Pakedge networking solutions. 

In terms of lead generation, Facebook is a bit limited because company pages are stationary: only individuals can visit, like, and/or friend a company page. Additionally, few individuals care to use their personal Facebook accounts for work, so there isn’t the kind of mining you find on Twitter.
