Advanced Data Risk Management (ADRM), a provider of data-driven risk management solutions, has launched its DEFENDER Managed Services Platform.
According to the announcement, the platform is currently in use across ADRM’s managed services client sites, improving, overseeing, and maintaining the reliability of their security systems.
“There’s a lot of responsibility in providing managed security services,” said Dan ONeill, president & CEO, ADRM. “If there’s something wrong with a system or something that needs to be done to the system, you have to do it properly and it really has to be done in a single database. You could have multiple access control systems in your environment, or multiple camera systems in your environment, key boxes, visitor management systems — all sorts of different components — that maybe one or two people have to monitor globally. To have to go into all of those systems every day and keep them up to date is almost an impossible task. DEFENDER is the ideal managed services platform for system admins or employees system admins who can now make data driven risk management decisions across the entire enterprise.”
As a managed services provider, ADRM is entrusted with the critical task of managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure, software systems, and edge devices for a variety of clients on a global scale. The DEFENDER platform ensures the seamless operation of integrated electronic security systems, including video management, access control, intrusion detection, key control, and visitor management systems.
The platform provides a comprehensive view of the security environment’s performance and health, delivering real-time events, metrics, and alerts. This functionality allows for proactive management of system components, predicts issues, mitigates risk, and significantly enhances the robustness and resiliency of networks and systems.
“We’re tracking the health of the device and any warranty support that is applicable to every site, in multiple regions,” said ONeill. “There’s also inventory management, asset management, a ticketing system and it has the (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) CISA integration built in. We’re selling it modularly, because probably not everyone’s going to use all of those modules. If someone said they needed to track backgrounds of their employees, we could create a background check repository in DEFENDER. If they don’t want it, they don’t need to buy it — it’s totally modular.”
The platform also manages abstract components, such as system licenses, support agreements, software packages, inventory, maintenance tasks, projects, proposals, meeting notes, and support tickets, facilitating streamlined access to pivotal information for both the ADRM Team and clients. DEFENDER also tracks installation projects and scores vendor, software, and product performance worldwide.
