ADI Refreshes Luma X21 NVR Portfolio to Support Modern Residential Surveillance Systems

ADI Global Distribution announced a new series of updates to its Luma X21 Network Video Recorder (NVR) portfolio, extending the residential and entry-level platform with updated 4-, 8- and 16-channel models designed to meet the performance, installation and management expectations of today’s smart home surveillance projects.
Building on earlier updates within the X21 Series, the latest enhancements introduce improvements across processing performance, bandwidth, power delivery and installation design. Together, these updates are aimed at ensuring the Luma X21 line continues to offer a competitive, scalable and profitable option for dealers, while delivering a more capable and reliable experience for end customers.
The updated X21 NVRs feature an enhanced processor platform that delivers smoother system performance and increased bandwidth to support higher-resolution IP cameras. The refreshed 16-channel X21 NVR is designed as a direct, one-to-one replacement for first-generation X20 residential models. Importantly, it is positioned as part of ADI’s residential and entry-level surveillance offering and does not replace the commercial-grade Luma 420 Series NVRs. The updated X21 NVRs are fully NDAA compliant and deeply integrated with OvrC.
