Pimloc & Dynamic Workflow Solutions Partner to Deliver Data Management & Automated Redaction for Public Safety Agencies

Pimloc, a provider of AI-powered video privacy and redaction software, announced a partnership with Dynamic Workflow Solutions (DWS) to deliver a joint solution for public safety agencies that combines data management and automated redaction of personally identifiable information (PII) from video, audio and documents. This partnership brings together DWS’s Data-Central Evidence Engine and Pimloc’s Secure Redact software to address challenges in a single workflow.
“Digital evidence has scaled faster than the workflows around it,” said Simon Randall, CEO, Pimloc. “Teams are now dealing with hours of footage from multiple sources, and when a FOIA request comes in, that material has to be reviewed and redacted before it can be shared. In many cases, that still means hours of manual work. That’s where backlogs build and where risk starts to increase. We’re thrilled to partner with Dynamic Workflow Solutions to connect redaction directly into how that evidence is ingested and managed, helping public safety agencies handle FOIA requests faster, easier and with confidence.”
DWS rewraps thousands of proprietary video files into standard MP4 formats, eliminating the delays and overhead associated with traditional transcoding. Once standardized, these files can be sent to Secure Redact with a single click. DWS Data Central Evidence Engine ingests video, audio, images and documents from multiple sources, prepares them for AI-driven processing and integrates directly with Pimloc’s Secure Redact platform to detect and redact sensitive information such as faces, license plates and other identifiers. The fully processed and redacted files are then returned to Data Central for secure storage, review and efficient sharing.
The combined solution supports a range of media, including body-worn camera footage, CCTV and surveillance video, in-car video systems, and smartphone and social media footage.
“Demand for automated redaction has increased significantly across our customer base,” said Dave Glover, CEO, DWS. “Many agencies are still relying on manual processes, or tools that require extensive user manipulation to get evidence to a point where it can be shared. At the same time, they’re under pressure to meet disclosure turnaround requirements, with no margin for error. Secure Redact gives agencies a way to respond faster without cutting corners, so redaction backlogs don’t become liabilities.”
The joint solution is available globally and is designed to support police departments, investigators, records teams, IT teams and legal offices responsible for managing and disclosing digital evidence.
