Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics, a unit of Honeywell, has named Rich Simonetti senior vice president of sales. In his new role, Simonetti will be responsible for global sales, customer service, and technical support across the business. He reports directly to Ron Rothman, president of Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics.

Monitronics International has hired Ken Rosen as director of national sales. In this position, Rosen will oversee the sales team in its efforts to recruit independent alarm companies into the Monitonics’ nationwide authorized network.

Bob Helstrom announced the promotion of Doug Beaulieu to president of Alarm Center Inc., Lacey, Wash. Helstrom remains CEO.

The Arena Football League announced its largest national

partnership in AFL history with ADT Security Services Inc., a unit of Tyco Fire and Security. The multi-year extension designates the organization as the Official and Exclusive Electronic Security Partner of the AFL through 2007. The upcoming season is the third year of the existing three-year AFL and ADT partnership.

March Networks Corp. and PSA Security Network signed an agreement that allows the complete line of networked video security systems from March Networks to be available to PSA member companies. Authorized resellers within the PSA member community are able to sell, install and support the family of March Networks DVRs and integrated software.

Cernium Inc. announced it has been certified as a Lenel Systems International Inc. partner for its Perceptrak software. Lenel’s OnGuard OpenAccess Alliance Program certification allows selected software and hardware developers to utilize Lenel’s internationally recognized security platform and technology standard.

Senstar-Stellar Corp. (SSC), appointed Edwin Morton vice president of sales. In his new role, Morton will be responsible for Canadian and international sales, excluding Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. Also, Michael Edward Rack has been appointed managing director of SSC’s UK operations, Senstar-Stellar Ltd. in Broadway, England. In addition, Rack will remain vice president of marketing for SSC.

Videolarm hired Doug Greenway as its national account manager, integration. His responsibilities include expanding the company’s presence with security/integration dealers, consultants, and specifiers, serving Videolarm’s existing national integration accounts, and managing the company’s western region-based sales force.
