PowerSense Midspan In-Line Hubs add power to spare pairs of the systemâ€™s network cable without disturbing data transmission. Similar to patch panels, these hubs are installed between the existing Ethernet switch and the LAN devices. Each PowerSense module auto-detects the deviceâ€™s power requirements and allows for transparent 10/100 Mb/s data transmission.
