Mario Costa, vice president of sales at OzVision, Lynn, Mass., addressed a group of about 20 alarm dealers about the whys and hows of OzVision’s remote video monitoring systems at a recent seminar in the Chicago area. “We don’t want to be a CCTV system; we want to be a high-end intrusion system,” Costa said. “Plug and play allows you to plug any video system into any alarm system” to enable a video clip to appear within 15 to 20 seconds of activation of an alarm – all over dial-up phone lines, Costa said. His presentation was part of Security Associates International’s multi-city seminar tour titled, “Innovative New Sources of RMR.” ADI’s Elk Grove Village, Ill., branch, hosted the presentation pictured here.
