This spring, Las Vegas witnessed the joint expo between PSA Security Network, Denver, and the National Systems Contractors Association’s (NSCA) Systems Integration Expo, which provided attendees with the opportunity to view exhibits ranging from integrated commercial systems to high-end security and life safety systems.

PSA balanced its intimate members-only setting, which had been held in Denver for the past 15 years with the larger NSCA Expo, which attracted a record-setting 11,000 attendees and was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Flamingo Hotel. Intermixed between events were PSA member-only events such as the opening mixer and the Vendor Appreciation Banquet.

The new venue gave PSA the opportunity to expand its exhibit space. In addition, PSA offered classes and casino security tours of some of the major hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

The well-attended consultant panel, titled “Taking the Mystery of Working with Security Consultants,” discussed the qualifications consultants seek when partnering with an integration company and how integrators can better position their company to work with consultants.
